ZAC-GGM has recently purchased Agilent G2565BA Microarray Scanner System and relevant software. These new elements will soon contribute a lot to the platform of Cancer Genomics, that is, it will become a powerful tool to investigate with and provide clinical services on genome structural variation, particularly the copy number variation, and what role it has in phenotypic variation and disease susceptibility.

The Agilent Microarray Scanner is a sophisticated laser-induced fluorescence scanner designed to read microarrays deposited on standard 1 in *3 in slides. The technology it use provides for rapid, high-quality, automated, "hands-off" scanning of microarrays.
