Research area: The role of tumor suppressor gene BRCA2 in breast cancer.
Research summary: (1)Selection of the BRCA2 interactive protein using yeast two hybrid system.(2) In vitro and in vivo binding assay of the interactive proteins. (3)The biological function of the interactive proteins and their roles in breast cancer’s development and prevention.? The major contribution is that I found a novel centrosome protein named as “centribin¡±, which plays a role in the centrosome amplification and duplication.?
Techniques used: (1) Yeast two hybrid system. (2)DNA cloning, mapping and sequencing structure analysis of nuclear acid and protein with computer. (3) IP, co-IP and Western blot techniques. (3) Cell culture, transfection, luciferase assay and immunochemistry assays.
